Ensuring fairness, honesty, and ethical conduct across Salasah Go’s learning environment
This policy is implemented in alignment with the standards and requirements of the
National eLearning Center (NCE) and the applicable regulations of the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
1. Purpose and Scope
This Academic Integrity Policy establishes the principles, rules, and procedures governing
ethical conduct within the e-learning and training environment of Salasah Go.
The policy applies to all users of the platform, including learners, instructors, trainers,
and administrators.
2. Definition of Academic Integrity
Academic integrity refers to the commitment to honesty, fairness, accountability, and ethical
behavior in all electronic learning and training activities, including assessments,
examinations, assignments, interactions, and certification processes conducted through the
platform.
3. Academic Integrity Violations
Violations of academic integrity in the e-learning environment include, but are not limited to:
- Cheating: Use of unauthorized resources, tools, or assistance during assessments or evaluations.
- Impersonation: Completing learning activities or assessments on behalf of another individual or allowing unauthorized account access.
- Unauthorized Collaboration: Sharing answers or materials in activities designated as individual work.
- Forgery or Falsification: Altering or misrepresenting academic records, results, reports, or certificates.
- Plagiarism: Presenting copied content or assignments without proper citation or acknowledgment.
- Misuse of the Learning Platform: Any behavior that compromises integrity, fairness, security, or intended educational outcomes.
4. Monitoring and Detection
Salasah Go utilizes technical, administrative, and instructional controls to monitor learning
activities and detect potential violations of academic integrity, including system logs,
assessment analytics, and instructor reviews, in accordance with applicable data protection
regulations.
5. Violation Handling Procedures
When a potential violation is identified, Salasah Go follows a fair and documented process that includes:
- Verification and review of the incident using available evidence.
- Formal notification to the user regarding the alleged violation.
- Providing an opportunity for the user to respond or clarify, where applicable.
- Evaluation based on severity, intent, and recurrence.
- Documentation of decisions and actions taken.
6. Disciplinary Actions and Sanctions
Disciplinary actions are applied proportionally and may include:
- Written warning.
- Nullification of assessment or assignment results.
- Temporary restriction from course activities or assessments.
- Temporary suspension of the user account.
- Termination of enrollment or permanent account deactivation.
- Revocation, invalidation, or non-issuance of certificates.
7. User Acknowledgment and Compliance
All users of Salasah Go are required to review and comply with this Academic Integrity Policy.
Continued access to and use of the platform constitutes formal acknowledgment and acceptance
of this policy and its enforcement procedures.
